Position Account Manager, North-West Italy You will be the main sales contact for the territory, covering Quaker Houghton\'s offering of products, equipment and services. You will focus on nurturing relationships with our existing customer base in the metalworking fluids market, and drive cross-selling and customer satisfaction initiatives. Develop business growth in the North and West Italian region to achieve company sales and gross margin targets by regularly visiting customer sites Create strong relationships with key customer contacts across all levels to increase customer satisfaction and cross-selling success Prepare and present customer proposals, commercial offers and value selling plans Deliver sound technical advice, working with our Product Application team to implement and offer new solutions Communicate with the KAM team for alignment with account strategy to maximize business potential Collaborate with the QH Fluid Intelligence Solutions team regarding our range of equipment sales Coordinate with Customer Service and Technical Service teams to meet customer expectations Regularly report to management to analyze sales targets, budgets and forecast (primarily using CRM, Excel and other IT tools) Attend and participate in conferences and industry trade shows Monitor competitors\' activities, industry trends and regional regulations and provide feedback to management and the KAM team What are we looking for? Experience: 1 to 3 years of technical sales experience in a B2B environment, ideally in contact with the metalworking process and the automotive sector Experience with both end user and distributor accounts is an advantage Education: Engineering degree (mechanical, chemical, industrial or similar) Languages: Italian (bilingual level) and English (professional level written & spoken) are required Experience from metalworking fluids, lubricants, grease, coolants or related industrial chemical markets is preferred Profile: A dynamic professional with excellent communication and presentation skills to build trust-based relationships with key stakeholders Location: Field-based role in the West and North Italy territory Soft skills: Safety conscious, team player, autonomous, results driven, analytical & problem solver, customer focus About Us We are the global leader in industrial process fluids, present in 40 countries, continually improving and innovating so manufacturers can stay ahead in a changing world.
