Environmental Consultant

Description: Hire Resolves client, a prominent Environmental Consulting company in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join their team. Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and policies applicable to mining operations. Conduct environmental assessments and audits to evaluate the impact of mining activities. Develop and implement environmental management plans (EMPs) and strategies to minimize environmental risks. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure environmental considerations are integrated into mining projects. Monitor environmental indicators and report on performance against compliance requirements. Provide training and guidance to staff on environmental practices and regulations. Engage with regulatory bodies and stakeholders on environmental matters. Requirements: Grade 12 Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Management. Registered with SACNASP/EAPASA 5-8 years' experience within the Environmental Consulting Sector. Experience in conducting environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and WUL's.
