Ice-Cream Vendor (Delaire Graff Estate)

Delaire Graff Estate is looking for an Ice-Cream Vendor to provide excellent service to customers by greeting them with a smile and responding quickly and efficiently to their orders. Main responsibilities: Set-up the station in the morning Prepare ice-cream desserts for the guests Assisting guests with their orders and making suggestions Maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the stand, by wiping down the stand in the morning and evening Sanitized work area Take inventory and place orders to maintain a functional stock of supplies (ice-cream, cones, cups, etc.) Store all ingredients in the relevant kitchens Operate card machine for payments Report to manager on duty with all transactions for the day, to process into the POS Main requirements: Grade 12 Preferably 1- 2 years previous in hospitality Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, public holidays, weekends) Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills Friendly demeanour & Outgoing personality Basic maths skills Attention to detail Productivity & Efficiency Self-disciplined Ability to cope under pressure Flexibility and Accountability Delaire Graff Estate is an equal opportunity employer.
