Job Description Summary Reporting to the Europe Quality Leader, the Quality Assurance Specialist ensures that products or services meet established quality standards, playing a crucial role in identifying defects, process gaps and implementing processes to enhance quality and efficiency. Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for the development and continuous improvement of the quality management for the Avenza and Kollsnes sites according to ISO 9001 requirements Responsible for coordinating internal workstation audits and external audits Conduct internal quality management systems & process Audits Responsible for creating, maintaining and updating QMS procedures and work instructions through extensive collaborations with all functions. Revise standard work to mitigate and prevent product & process quality defects Drive and influence the organization at all levels towards a “zero defect” culture. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in engineering or equivalent experience Some experience in a quality assurance role, preferable within the turbomachinery/aviation industries Excellent English communication skills (written and oral) Basic knowledge of Quality Management System tools, continuous improvement methodologies and ISO 9001:2015 standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to influence and work cross functionally, acting as a “glue” among departments Desired Characteristics Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering experience in the Aerospace or Aviation industry or experience in manufacturing engineering in Aerospace, Aviation or Oil and Gas field.
