Pay Information $2,445 per week About The Position ID: 56077159 Shift: 07:00 AM-03:30 PM Description: Bill Rate: $98Skillset RN Cath Lab Shift 8 hour shift, 7-330Weekend/holiday/call 830 -5 for on call, on call is once during the week, then every 4th or 5th weekend (Friday Saturday Sunday) As needed holiday requirement Hours 40 hours Duration January 10th end date Interview: Phone Interview with Mike Vanalst Licensure Requirements RN MI/CompactCertifications AHA BLS , AHA ACLS Experience Requirements Cath Lab Experience prior, come in and hit the ground running, someone who has worked in EP would be a bonus . balloon pump experience would be a bonus. Education Requirement no Ratios 4 people teams, 2 nurses and 2 techs for each room Scrub Requirements Seal Blue , surgical scrubs Floating Requirements no float outside of EP if they have relevant experience Blocked Scheduling : Not preferred but open to discussing RTO 1 week, need to tag on a week if taking full weekDepartment: They have 3 cath labs, 4 doctors, they are easy to work with and flexibleHR contact included on all submittals Title: Registered Nurse AgencyDepartment: Patient ServicesLocation: All CampusesReports to/Title: Patient Services ManagerExempt Physical IVPOSITION SUMMARYThe role of the Registered Nurse includes leadership, direction and feedback to care team members, assessment, collaboration and coordination regarding plan of care, patient and family education, pain management, patient safety, and planning for patient discharge. This position will assist the patient to move safely and effectively through their hospital stay.Demonstrates excellent customer service performance in that his/her attitude and actions are at all times consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Covenant HealthCare and the commitment to Extraordinary Care for Every Generation.RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports the organizations patient flow efforts through compliance to unit and Patient Services policies. Remains flexible in cooperation with 24-hour staffing patterns and scheduling needs for provision of care in all inpatient units. Communicates with patients and families in a professional, therapeutic, and courteous manner. Has clinical and social contact with patients, including all age groups, and is able to appropriately assess, care for and treat them according to the guidelines as defined by Covenant HealthCare. Performs assessment and synthesizes data collected by self and others in an ongoing and systematic manner, focusing on the patient s physiologic, psychologic, and cognitive status. Formulates and coordinates a goal directed plan of care which is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnoses and identified patient care concerns. Delegates, supervises and implements care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent and continuous manner by utilization of and adherence to standards which define the process. Collaborates effectively with all health care disciplines to facilitate patient outcomes, assess readiness for discharge and anticipate discharge needs. Identifies patient learning needs and their ability to follow through, including discharge instructions, while implementing appropriate measures to meet these needs. Exhibits nursing judgement and critical thinking abilities within the framework of the nursing process. Administers medications as outlined by Patient Service guidelines and policies. Documents all patient care observations and interventions in the electronic record accurately, clearly, in a timely manner following all established policies. Actively participates in quality management. Updates and maintains knowledge, skills and competencies related to area of practice and ages of patient population. Demonstrates awareness of legal issues in all aspects of patient care and unit function. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and actively supports risk management activities.
