Job title Test & Commissioning Engineer Purpose of the job To oversee the integration and validation activities for a part of the Transport System. Network & links Internal Transversal links Project Engineering Manager Project Requirement Manager Project Subsystems T&C Engineers Temporary Operation team External Transversal links Consortium partners Subcontractors Customer Independent Consultant or Engineer Transport Operator Main responsibilities Participate to the production of the test procedures Execute the site tests and produce associated test report Report and follow action plans corresponding to malfunctioning of the subsystem during the T&C phase Report the subsystem configuration during the successive tests phases (offshore test track, site…) Maintain and develop his own level of expertise Implement the processes, methods and tools corresponding to his activities Main required competences Educational requirements Mandatory: Graduated from Engineering school Desirable: Electrical and mechanical diploma/degree Experience Mandatory: At least 3 years of experience in the T&C field Desirable: Broad knowledge of the subsystems / products to be tested and commissioned Able to read schematics and troubleshoot systems for fault finding Capable of using testing means and measuring required performance Competencies & skills Team spirit, ability to communicate and listen Leadership, ability to manage people, resilient Ability to understand the standards, requirements and their environment Focus on customer / operator satisfaction Good knowledge of English language Rigorous, good organization Agility & stress resistance Equal opportunity Alstom is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive working environment where all our employees are encouraged to reach their full potential, and individual differences are valued and respected.
