This job offers you the opportunity to develop in the broadest sense by being engaged in all aspects of the business and manage your own daily work. You will join a team of 1 Medical Manager in Italy, and you will be responsible for the Medical Affairs strategy and execution of the medical projects, as well as providing medical affairs support to sales and marketing colleagues, with a demonstrable affinity for identifying commercial opportunities. You live in Italy and are able to speak English for communication with the European management team. You will report to the Lead Medical Managers Europe. The European management team is located across Europe, with offices in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Major tasks & responsibilities Developing Medical Affairs strategies and executing scientific projects such as publications and advisory boards. Identifying and developing peer-to-peer relationships with country KOLs and other influencers, utilizing evidence-based information. Supporting the development and launch of products through scientific exchange in melanoma. Supporting Early Access Program requests from HCPs in Italy for melanoma patients. Providing business support to Italian marketing, commercial, and market access teams for Odomzo (sonidegib) in locally advanced basal cell carcinoma. Leading the process for investigator-initiated trials and monitoring their progression. Ensuring timely, compliant, and ethical dissemination of clinical and scientific information regarding marketed and pipeline compounds. Building and supporting networks in derma-oncology and other potential therapeutic areas. Communicating emerging data to experts and responding to healthcare professional inquiries. Supporting colleagues in organizing HCP events with medical content support. Education Qualifications (Graduate-Post Graduate) Mandatory – (bio)medical/scientific academic degree. Driver’s license. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MSL or Medical Manager in the innovative pharmaceutical industry. At least one year of experience in a commercial role within the pharmaceutical industry. Native Italian and fluent in English. Desirable: Dermatology/Oncology experience. Desirable: Experience with Early Access Programs in Italy. Technical skills/job specific competencies Strong scientific knowledge. Strategic thinking abilities. Knowledge of dermatology or oncology. Understanding of regulatory environment and compliance. Excellent teaching and presentation skills. Creative and positive mindset towards challenges. Enjoys interacting with HCPs and field activities. J-18808-Ljbffr
