Key tasks and responsibilities: Schedule, research, and prepare materials for Outside Sales meetings and ZIM Compass Prepare quotations by requesting rates from other ZIM departments or agencies as needed Update customer data in the ZRM system from Outside Sales and other sources Handle client complaints and follow up on resolutions Resolve ad-hoc customer problems Forward telephone and email inquiries to the appropriate departments within ZIM Track customer performance of the account portfolio Update account plans and profiles based on Outside Sales input Complete required training as per the training program Populate KPI templates for Outside Sales weekly to enable performance tracking Ensure data accuracy in ZRM and related systems for cargo shipped by controlled customers Requirements: Completed apprenticeship in shipping or forwarding Outgoing personality Good geographical knowledge Team player Ability to work under pressure Willingness to work in an open-plan office Languages: English (Scale 1–7): 5 MS Office (Word, Excel): Scale 1–7: 4 Experience with special and dangerous cargo is appreciated.
