Job Description
Process Engineer at Dow We have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Engineer in Correggio, Italy. The Production Engineer provides solutions which add value through improvements in work process, unit operations, operating condition and/or process technology. Provides a technical resource to production, site logistics, maintenance and projects. Responsible to manage the Process Automation coordinating the support of PA service supplier (Siemens). Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a job discipline. Responsibilities Applies Process Engineering Work Process Discipline and Global Project Methodology (GPM). Ensures Process Automation is aligned with plant procedures and Business strategy and standards. Owner of the plant process automation document MDP (Manufacturing discipline package). Supports the plant personnel in the implementation of new electronic tools. Implements the AI Corporate resources to innovate and optimize work processes. Ensures that the process design is safe, meets DOW safety principle and other EH&S requirements. Drives project execution to ensure successful results within their disciplines. Provides input to project schedule and plans, then monitors progress against the plans. Ensures process design deliverables meet the needs of the project including functioning as intended, on time and within budget. Identifies technical problems both within designs and existing operations. Appropriately engages the business and functional technology center and the subject matter expert network to resolve. Works with a multi-functional team to identify and define improvement opportunities on the production and work processes. Qualifications A Bachelor or Master Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Material Science / Metallurgical Engineering. You speak fluently both Italian and English. You are a fresh graduate with between 0 and 2 years of working experience. Your Skills You are able to collaborate within a team. You are a fast learner.
