About The Role As an experienced Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data within Corporate accounts through journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis. Your responsibilities will span multiple aspects of accounting and financial management, requiring a strong understanding of accounting principles. You will cooperate with different parties in the process of financial statements preparation and review of postings accuracy, as well as support for statutory audits. The results of your work must ensure accurate month-end close and financial information for key stakeholders within the organization. You will report to the Senior Manager EMEA GAC. This is a Hybrid position, with commutable access to our offices located in Monfalcone (Italy). Key Responsibilities Monthly/Quarterly/Annual GL Journal Bookings and month-end close review Ensure compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP & Local GAAP) and company policies in all journal booking activities. Ensure all month-end close entries have been posted as required. Provide support and insights as needed to address discrepancies or issues in the TB. Perform reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data. Investigate and resolve discrepancies identified during reconciliation. Obtain balance confirmations and proactively resolve discrepancies. Collaborate with relevant teams to rectify discrepancies. Assist with audits and financial statement preparation. Conduct ad hoc analysis of financial information as required. Qualifications: 2 - 4 years in accounting, finance. Graduate in Accounting Excel expert user Good written and spoken English Experience with enterprise information systems SAP, Quasar X Why Westinghouse?
