Junior Receivables Executive

Job Purpose: We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a Junior Accounts Receivable Executive. This is a great opportunity for someone with some credit control or finance admin experience (from a few months to two years) who is keen to build a career in credit control. You’ll be supporting the day-to-day management of customer accounts, helping to ensure timely payments, and learning from experienced professionals in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in chasing outstanding payments via phone and email in a professional and courteous manner Monitor customer accounts and flag overdue invoices to the Senior Credit Controller Help investigate basic account or payment queries and pass on more complex issues for further support Keep accurate notes and update internal systems with payment status and communications Check sales ledger entries for accuracy and help identify any discrepancies Support the credit control team with administrative tasks and reporting Help prepare weekly and monthly reports for team use and management review Work closely with colleagues across the finance team to ensure smooth operations Follow company processes and compliance guidelines in all credit control activities What We’re Looking For: Basic understanding of finance or accounting principles is helpful Familiarity with Excel (e.g., working with spreadsheets, entering data, basic formulas) Good communication skills – both written and verbal – with a professional manner Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and a willingness to learn A team player with a positive attitude and an interest in developing within credit control Willingness to work towards relevant qualifications (e.g., CICM or AAT, if desired) Why join us?
