Job Opportunity: Youth and Community Work Co-Ordinator Location: Ashford, Kent Contract: 1-year fixed term Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Salary: £18,000 – £20,000 Uprising Youth and Community is a growing Christian youth work charity with over 10 years of experience in Ashford. We are seeking a passionate and proactive Youth and Community Work Co-Ordinator to support the delivery of two key projects: Hang10 – Detached youth work across Ashford Community Action Teams (CAT) – A gardening-based community initiative This role also includes developing an Employability Pathway to offer young people meaningful work experience and volunteering opportunities. We are looking for someone who: Has a heart for working with young people and the wider community Can build strong relationships and communicate effectively Is adaptable, reliable, and ready to contribute ideas Ideally holds a full UK driving licence "Given the nature of this role, an occupational requirement has been established for the post-holder to be sympathetic to the Christian ethos and the values of a faith-based youth community. This requirement is in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010
