Job Description

Qualifications: Grade 12 / Matric certificate (minimum requirement). PSIRA registration (where applicable in South Africa). Prior experience in a security, surveillance, or law enforcement role (advantageous). Basic knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) will be beneficial. Skills & Competencies: Strong attention to detail and high level of alertness. Ability to remain focused and calm in high-pressure situations. Good communication and reporting skills (verbal & written). Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. Ability to multitask and handle multiple camera feeds effectively. Basic technical knowledge of CCTV systems and computer literacy. Key Responsibilities Preliminary investigation and compiling evidence via CCTV. Administration and filing of information. Receive and monitor activated alarms. Recording of response feedback. Compiling incident reports. Hand over accurate information to the investigating officer for further processing Monitor CCTV cameras in real time to detect suspicious or unlawful activities. Report any unusual behavior, security breaches, or safety hazards to management or security response teams. Record, classify, and document incidents in daily occurrence logs and reports. Assist in gathering evidence from CCTV footage for investigations and disciplinary matters. Ensure all surveillance systems are functioning effectively and report technical issues promptly. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all surveillance records. Collaborate with on-site security personnel and law enforcement when required. Follow company policies, procedures, and applicable laws related to surveillance. How to Apply:
