Packaging Process Leader

Requirements: Grade 12 A relevant post-matric qualification, such as a Certificate in GMP, Production Management, or a related field. Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is preferred Someone who is available immediately would be preferred Minimum 3 years experience as a production process leader, or in a similar role. Knowledge of production safety regulations and best practices. Knowledge of the production process and GMP regulations. Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software used for inventory management and data entry Experience in production planning, Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) measurements, monitoring, and improvement strategies Job Duties: Leadership and Team Management Lead and supervise the packing team to ensure smooth operations. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with performance standards. Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to team members. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Production Oversight Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet production targets. Monitor packing processes and equipment to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Ensure adherence to production timelines, minimizing downtime and delays. Address and resolve operational issues promptly. Develop, document, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for processes. Quality Control and Assurance Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. Investigate and address quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions. Work closely with quality assurance teams to maintain compliance with regulations. Process Optimization Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices. Analyze packing performance metrics and address inefficiencies. Safety and Compliance Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Data Analysis and Reporting Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, yield, and downtime. Prepare and present reports on packing performance and improvements to management. Customer Focus Address customer feedback related to packaging. Ensure packaging aligns with customer requirements and brand standards Collaboration with Other Departments Continuous Improvement Equipment Management Resource Management Problem Solving and Decision-Making Salary: Basic of: R40 000 - R45 000 How to apply:
