Technical Application Specialist

Our client is seeking a Technical Application Specialist to join their team, based in the Eastern Cape. Successful candidate will deliver technical expertise and application support to Sales Area Managers and customers, guiding product development, managing projects, and training teams to drive innovation and strengthen sales impact. Minimum Requirements:- BSc / BTech in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, or related field 0–2 years’ experience (recent Graduates welcome) Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel Exposure to food product development, processing, or applications Proficiency in Afrikaans would be beneficial Knowledge of one or more of the following would be advantageous:- * Co-Ex technology (casings and sausage processing) * Food processing equipment (installation, validation, optimisation) * Food ingredients (seasonings, marinades, functional ingredients) * Understanding of food safety systems and regulatory standards (HACCP, ISO)
