Security Business Unit Manager

Job Purpose: Security Business Unit, Profit & Loss (P&L), commercial and business development ownership through working directly with vendors and customers on all aspects of business growth activity and by collaborating with all relevant business functions to deliver best in class systems and processes Responsibilities: Execute the Security strategy in full alignment with the agreed strategy to grow profitable market share. Lead the vendor pricing and profit strategy through collaboration with Profit and Business optimization teams to review price elasticity, drive profitability improvements and handle exception management Drive sales out of agreed vendor portfolio including new vendors identification and onboarding and other business development initiatives in order to optimize results. Support development of direct reports and/or development of divisional assistant category managers (ACM’s) or business development execs (BDE’s) Ownership for full product and vendor lifecycle management, including system accuracy, product adoption & creation and contract management Hold commercial & sales relationship with vendor & customer key stakeholders Identification of commercial & operational process improvements Ensure ongoing use of CRM tools to ensure best in class business continuity Ownership of quarterly vendor business planning and execution Create a cybersecurity culture within TD SYNNEX Italy Proactively lead conversations and initiatives with the EMEA team Knowledge Skills and Experience Strong competencies on cybersecurity Commercial acumen Skilled multi-level relationship builder Strong communication skills both written and oral Time management & prioritization skills Strong sense of ownership and accountability Excellent analytical skills High energy and motivation Experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business management level, ideally from a product marketing background Experience of SAP R3 and business warehouse Strong Microsoft office skills Strong orientation towards and experience in services and solution selling Strategic planning and business case development Experience of working within a matrix structure Proven ability to multi task in a fast paced environment Business planning experience with strong operational cadence Key Skills What’s In It For You?
