Process Engineer

We are seeking a graduate in Mechanical – Aeronautical – Electrical/Electronic – Chemical Engineering with proven experience as a Process Engineer and within Engineering departments, preferably in the plastics industry. The candidate will report directly to the Plant Manager and will be responsible for defining technical and plant improvement actions to optimize production processes and reduce inefficiencies, thereby contributing to maintaining the competitiveness of our production processes and product development. Knowledge of plastic transformation processes (Weighing-Mixing-Extrusion) is preferred. The ideal candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, analytical ability, problem-solving attitude, planning and organizational skills, and a strong focus on results. Responsibilities Assist the maintenance manager in drafting scheduled and extraordinary maintenance plans according to internal management procedures; Support the Maintenance Manager in maintaining adequate spare parts inventory to ensure smooth operation of equipment and machinery; Support the HSE department in managing external suppliers, including: Requesting safety documents and, in coordination with the HSE department, preparing the DUVRI; Assisting in the selection and commissioning processes, verifying technical and professional requirements, and monitoring compliance with safety standards during on-site activities; Support the RSPP and HSE Officer in planning interventions and inspections in accordance with current safety and prevention regulations; Participate in validation operations of plants, machinery, and production processes; Actively promote and collaborate on solutions to resolve production and quality issues; Analyze performance indicators to identify causes of deviations and propose corrective actions; Contribute to maintaining and updating the Quality Management System (SGQ), and assist in implementing new procedures related to safety and environmental standards; Ensure compliance with directives regarding plant operation, process parameters, quality, safety, and environmental impact; Gather technical, qualitative, and production process information necessary for new investments; Participate in the implementation and management of the company's ERP system (SAP); Manage the plant's CAPEX investment plan, from budgeting to authorization, design, construction, and commissioning phases. Educational requirements include a degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, maintenance procedures, PLC diagnostics, programming logic, and ISO13485 standards is required. Proficiency in Italian and English at least B2 level is necessary.
