The successful candidate will study a Level 4 Learning an Skills Mentor apprenticeship programme and be guaranteed the equivalent of one day per week to their studies. This position is offered, in the first instance, on a temporary basis for 12 months, in line with the apprenticeship programme. Duties include, but are not limited to: Monitoring and evaluating agreed student progress targets to ensure the maximum progression is made. Developing 1:1 and small group mentoring relationship with students needing particular support to achieve goals. Overseeing and assisting in applications for higher or further education in order to ensure positive destinations for all students. Supporting the Post-16 careers provision .
