Accounts Assistant

Location: Warrington Salary: £28,000 (flexible for the right candidate) Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Pattern: Hybrid working available Are you a detail-oriented and organised individual with a passion for finance? I am looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic Finance & Business team within a well-established organisation operating across multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities Process and distribute sales invoices, liaising with internal colleagues and external customers to resolve queries. Support purchase ledger and expense processing, including invoice verification, approval, and digital filing. Communicate effectively with team members to resolve invoice-related issues and escalate concerns where necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across sales and purchase ledgers. Essential: Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure. Proven experience in an administrative role. High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in IT systems including Excel and Outlook. GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English. Desirable: Familiarity with business operations and financial systems. Experience using Sage 200.
