Senior Electrical Project Manager – Data Centre Projects Location: UK-based (travel across South East England, London & Home Counties) Salary: Up to £100,000 £6,000 Travel Allowance Bonus: Above Average Bonus Structure Benefits: 25 Days Annual Leave Birthday Off, Pension, Career Progression Type: Full-Time, Permanent The Opportunity I’m currently working with a leading critical power contractor delivering high-value electrical infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued growth in the data centre sector , they are looking to bring on an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead major projects in London, the South East, and the Home Counties . This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a high-impact role, with the chance to manage either multiple concurrent projects or one high-profile Grade A project valued at £100m. The Role This is a key senior position requiring both site-based leadership and strategic planning. The role will involve a 50/50 split between on-site presence and project meetings/scheduling , working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and client-side representatives. Key Responsibilities Full cradle-to-grave project management, from pre-construction to handover Managing subcontractors and overseeing all MEP package delivery Ensuring compliance with all HSEQ requirements Building and maintaining project schedules – MS Project experience is ideal, but theoretical planning knowledge is essential Reporting to senior leadership and client stakeholders Travel to and between sites across London and the South East Ideal Candidate Profile 15–20 years in the electrical industry , ideally starting from the tools Background with a Tier 1 MEP contractor Strong commercial and contractual awareness Proven experience delivering mission-critical or data centre projects Skilled at managing complex packages and coordinating multiple disciplines Able to plan and manage their own workload and schedules IT literate – ideally MS Project, but not essential Ambitious, driven, and ready to take ownership of large-scale work What’s on Offer Up to £100,000 basic salary £6,000 annual travel allowance Above average bonus scheme 25 days holiday your birthday off Pension and benefits package High-profile projects and long-term pipeline of work Clear progression path in a growing, well-established organisation Interested?
