Senior Travel Consultant

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent sales skills, and a strong background in the travel industry and want to have their ideas heard. Responsibilities - Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, including overseeing staff, sales, admin and customer service - Sales driven you will lead the branch profitability by maximising sales and conversion - Develop and implement sales strategies including social media and local partnership opportunities to meet and exceed profit goals - Train and mentor staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about travel products and services, including apprentices - Monitor and analyse sales reports to identify trends and opportunities for growth - Assist with the maintenance of supplier relationships and generating special promotions - Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes to ensure the branch is offering the most competitive products and services - Collaborate with senior leadership to develop company-wide initiatives and goals Qualifications - Minimum of 3 years of experience in the travel industry, including sales - Strong sales and communication skills - Knowledge of travel booking systems - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
