Salisbury Pantry Manager Location: Salisbury Salary: 0.2 of FTE (£27,254) Vacancy Type: Fixed term contract up to end March 2026 Hours: 7.4 hours per week Closing Date: 15th September 2025 Salisbury Pantry aims to go beyond the food bank model in creating a sustainable and long-term solution to food poverty and work as a membership scheme. Our Salisbury Pantry shop is part of our Communities team. This role is a job share where responsibilities are shared with our existing manager. The role involves managing Wednesday pantry operations and working with the existing manager to manage membership and funder communications, manage, support and develop the volunteer team, develop and deliver promotion events as well as liaising with food donation partners and suppliers to ensure stock levels are maintained. There will be responsibility for maintaining our food hygiene standards and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment at the Pantry. We are looking for a motivated person to deliver a friendly and efficient essential community resource. You will work to support the Head of Community Services to plan the long-term development and sustainability of the Pantry. We are looking for someone who: Is a great communicator with a welcoming approach Has experience of delivering quality customer service Has experience of catering or food retail Is committed to work with volunteers to create a positive experience for members Is able to deal with competing priorities, a range of tasks including receiving and managing stock.
