Production Manager

About the Job The Production Manager at IKV Tribologie, a Quaker Houghton grease manufacturing site, is responsible for leading daily shop-floor operations, ensuring timely, efficient, and safe production in line with customer requirements. This role is highly focused on operational excellence, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement, with direct leadership of a team of approx. 13–14 operators. What’s in it for you? • Bonus program • Annual paid volunteering leave to dedicate to the cause of your choice • Health and life insurance options • QH University: continuous training programs for all seniority levels • Attractive Wellbeing, Women Inclusion & other DEI and Sustainability initiatives • Collaborative and international work environment What will you do? • Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet customer demand in collaboration with Planning and Supply Chain • Supervise, motivate, and develop a production team of 13–14 employees, including performance management and workload allocation • Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and implement continuous improvement practices across production processes • Manage SAP production orders, label printing, and packaging tasks • Ensure compliance with plant safety, housekeeping, and regulatory standards • Support training and development of operators, encouraging skills growth and cross-training • Participate actively in safety committees and contribute to a strong safety culture What do we look for? Education: • Bac 3 with relevant experience or Bac 5 in industrial production, manufacturing, or a related field Experience: • Proven experience in a production management or supervisory role • Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement • Familiarity with blending or related manufacturing processes (chemical, bakery, dairy, or similar) is a plus Skills: • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills • Hands-on, proactive, and team-oriented approach • Solid knowledge of safety regulations and basic employment law • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and general IT tools • Fluency in both French and English Who are we?
