About the Project Cross Fraser Partnership (CFP) is a Bouygues Construction Canada Inc., Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas Canada Ltd., Pomerleau BC Inc. and Arcadis Canada Inc. general partnership that has been selected to collaboratively deliver a new, eight-lane immersed tube tunnel that will replace the existing George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99. The new tunnel will have three vehicle lanes and one dedicated transit lane in each direction, with a separated active transportation corridor for cyclists and pedestrians. Position Overview Under the supervision of the Methods Lead, the incumbent participates in the coordination and drafting of construction methods. Reports to: Methods Lead Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Methods Coordinators and the construction team to define the general methods to be implemented on site; Produce logistics and site installation plans; Produce phasing plans: usage cycles of temporary works, definition of teams and equipment, and other method-related plans; Participate in the preparation of specifications for temporary works; Produce detailed operational procedure plans; Ensure the quality of produced documents and adherence to the deliverables production schedule; Maintain constant communication and collaboration with other team members; Perform other related tasks involving modeling and plan production. Education and Qualifications Hold a college diploma in civil engineering or possess equivalent experience combined with relevant training; Have experience in design and/or construction (temporary works, civil engineering structures, or other civil works); Experience with non-standard structures using various types of materials is an asset. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Proficiency in Civil 3D or Revit is an asset; Solid technical knowledge; Interest in new technologies and a desire to learn; Strong analytical skills; Demonstrate rigor, with attention to accuracy, precision, and compliance with standards and norms; Ability to communicate technical issues clearly, both orally and in writing; Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders; Sound judgment in decision-making; Versatile, autonomous, curious, and resourceful. The expected salary range for this opportunity is $75,000 – $85,000. Please note that salaries may vary depending on the candidate’s experience and geographical location.
