We cover finance, accounting, and payroll positions.Job SummaryA growing company specializing in property management is seeking an Accounts Payable Technician to support accounting operations for multiple entities. The incumbent will play a key role in processing invoices, payments, bank reconciliations, and period-end entries, while contributing to the continuous improvement of finance department processes.Key ResponsibilitiesMatch, validate, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.Make payments related to accounts payable and taxes.Maintain and update the accounts payable subsidiary ledger.Document and perform monthly and annual adjusting entries.File and classify invoices and proof of payment in a structured manner.Perform weekly bank reconciliations.Participate in various related tasks to support the accounting department.The ideal candidate is thorough, independent, and has excellent organizational skills. He or she wants to invest in a growing company and actively contribute to the structuring of the accounting department.Required qualificationsEducation: College diploma in accounting or equivalent experience.Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.Technical and behavioral skillsProficiency in Excel and accounting systems.Great attention to detail and rigor in performing tasks.Ability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment.Excellent time and priority management.Independence, initiative, and team spirit.Professionalism and impeccable ethics.Excellent communication and customer service skills.LanguagesBilingualism required for communication with the US (French and English).
