Job Description DXC Technology is looking for a Hadoop Administrator to support our analytics offerings. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Hadoop clusters and ecosystem in a Linux environment to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and security. Deploy, manage, and monitor Hadoop clusters using tools like Cloudera Manager, Apache Ambari, Ganglia, or Nagios. Monitor connectivity and security, maintain HDFS, and provide necessary support. Collaborate with database, network, and software developers to support data processing and big data applications. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role. Strong Linux system administration skills and knowledge of HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, and Pig. Good troubleshooting skills, understanding of system capacity and bottlenecks.
