Pay Information $1,888 per week About The Position Job Title: RN - OR/Surgery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Friday - Sunday Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 Year License: Current RN License Certifications: Must-Have: - 2 years scrub or circulating experience Description: This position requires a registered nurse with experience in the operating room and surgery. The contract is for a duration of 13 weeks, working weekend days from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Candidates must have at least 2 years of scrub or circulating experience to be considered for this role. The typical staffing on day shifts includes 1 charge nurse, 16 registered nurses, and 16 techs. Night shifts generally have 2 registered nurses and 2 techs. The unit consists of 14 operating rooms, including 2 designated for heart procedures. Procedures performed in the unit include general, gynecological, neurological, orthopedic, plastics, vascular, ENT, and urology surgeries. A flexible and positive attitude is ideal for this position. Scrub color is ciel blue, and scrubs will be provided. The unit has received the Unit of Distinction award three times.
