An exciting opportunity has become available within the Production Support team at Airbus Filton. Our department is a close-knit team dedicated to providing excellent support to the Filton Plant, which includes the A400M Wing, the A350 Equipped Gear Beam, and the Wing Technology Development Centre. Our purpose is to drive continuous business improvement. As a Production Support Integrator, you will be responsible for nurturing and facilitating new, innovative projects. You will drive improvements in key areas such as Safety, Quality, Cost, and Environmental impact, as well as support the implementation of the Airbus Operating System (AOS). Our team is always at the forefront of promoting innovation and continuous improvement. We adopt best practices and proven routines under the AOS framework. We are also responsible for securing Capital Expenditure (CapEx) investments, which are used to fund new and exciting projects that will drive our company into the future. What you will be doing: As a Production Support integrator you will develop essential skills in organisation and communication. You will build a network of key stakeholders in the business across a variety of operational areas and support functions. Key specific tasks in the role will include: * Facilitating projects where funding has been secured to drive work content reduction and performance improvements; * Supporting Financial Capex submissions process through the application of funding to back new and innovative ideas; * Driving AOS continuous improvement initiatives; * Supporting the Head of Department with planning & strategic activities; * Supporting the management of Plant risks and opportunities. Requirements: Our placements are open to * Undergraduates only . * Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following: * Studying towards a degree in Business, Engineering, a Technical field, or equivalent; * The ability to communicate effectively; * The ability to collate robust and informative presentations; * The confidence to lead key sessions and present accordingly; * An interest in coding and digital tools; * A strong interest in self-development; * The desire to work in an open and trusting environment. SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
