We are offering an internship with the Facilities Management and Real Estate (FMRE) function, the team responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving the entire property portfolio of Airbus. Based at our Broughton site, you will be part of the Performance Office, the team that supports and steers our FMRE operations across all our divisions (Commercial, Defence & Space, and Helicopters). We handle everything from major construction projects and sustainability initiatives to managing the operational budgets for our sites. This role offers a unique view into the business and operational core of a leading global company, providing a foundation for your future career. What you will be doing: This is a hands-on internship where you will learn by doing and contribute to the success of our function. You will be a valued member of our team, supporting key activities that help us run more effectively. We don’t expect you to know everything on day one, but we are looking for someone with a proactive attitude who is eager to learn and contribute. During your internship, you will have the opportunity to: * Contribute to Our Core Strategy: Support the team with crucial activities like planning our capital expenditure (CapEx) and preparing for business reviews. You'll gain firsthand experience in the financial and strategic processes that underpin a major corporate function. * Lead a Focused Improvement Project: You will be given ownership of a manageable improvement project relevant to our team's goals. With our guidance, you'll analyse a process, propose solutions, and implement changes, giving you a tangible achievement to add to your CV. * Support Our Risk Management Process: Work alongside the team to help identify, track, and manage risks and opportunities across our FMRE function. You'll learn practical skills in risk assessment and mitigation in a real-world business context. * Collaborate Within Our Global Function: You will work with FMRE colleagues based in different countries, supporting them on various performance topics. This will give you fantastic exposure to the international scope of our operations and help you build your communication skills. Requirements: Our placements are open to * Undergraduates only . * Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following: * Studying towards a degree in Business, Management, IT, Project Management, or equivalent; * Knowledge in data analysis; * Google Suite; * Open minded and able to work with international teams; * Attention to detail and problem solving skills; * Leadership skills. SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
