This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across the entire Airbus UK portfolio with direct accountability to our team. We are responsible for a wide range of deliverables, including: * Energy/Water Consumption Management, Billing, Monitoring & Reporting; * Energy/Water Forecasting & Target Setting; * Specification & Validation of Energy/Water Efficiency Improvement Projects; * Specification & Validation of Decarbonisation and Renewable Energy Projects; * Maintaining Compliance with Environmental Regulations and standards (e.g. ISO 50001); * Securing the Achievement of 2030 High5 Sustainability Targets. The integrated Energy & Sustainability UK team incorporates both Airbus Commercial and Airbus Defence & Space (ADS) and collaborates with multiple service lines across the UK, including Maintenance, General Services and Building & Construction. What you will be doing: As the successful candidate, you will: * Support the development and oversight of Energy/Water strategies, contribute to efficiency projects, analyze data, and learn about regulatory compliance and new technologies; * Support projects to identify and implement energy/water saving action plans, including surveys and data analysis; * Gain experience with digitalization tools for data management, including metering, Building Management Systems, and Energy/Water Management software; * Develop knowledge in defining and applying energy management strategies, understanding global/local energy markets, and learning about relevant energy codes, standards, and regulations. Requirements: Our placements are open to * Undergraduates only * . Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following: * Studying towards a degree in Engineering, Energy/Water Management, Environmental Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field with a focus on Sustainability and Data Analysis; * Data analysis, report writing and presentation skills; * The ability to listen, understand and communicate information; * Enthusiastic and proactive and take a hands-on approach to tasks; * An interest in finding creative solutions to complex problems; * Curious and interested in Environment and Sustainability.
