Graduate Electrical Production Engineer

This role is primarily responsible for providing technical support for products within the Operations function. This role offers a unique opportunity for a bright and dedicated graduate / junior engineer to make their mark within production engineering. You will be responsible for: Supporting the technical engineering input within Operations (Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain). Supporting the technical justification for change control within an Operations environment. Supporting the supply chain function with technical queries. Supporting the Engineering (NPI) function with change control feedback. Presenting change control technical rational into the Engineering Design Authority. Supporting the implementation of fresh, cost effective, best practice technological methods which enhances operational performance and customer satisfaction. You: Solid understanding of Lean Principles and process variation (Green Belt desirable) Solid understanding of Core Manufacturing tools and able to implement - OEE , Value Stream Mapping, Continuous improvement methods i.e. Kaizen. Solid understanding of APQP so to assist members of NPI Team. Qualified to a minimum of HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering with previous experience in electronic manufacturing (Aerospace industry experience is highly desirable). Ability to problem solve a wide range of technical issues (Mechanical, Electrical & Process). Microsoft Office experience. Be proactive using methods so to prevent failures within Customer/Production - PFMEA or Ishikawa.
