Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Essex Shifts: Monday - Friday, rotating shifts (Days, Afternoons & Nights) We're recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading food manufacturing site in Essex. You'll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly by carrying out planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance, while supporting ongoing improvements across the site. Key Responsibilities: Deliver PPM and reactive maintenance across production equipment and site services Diagnose and repair faults on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and PLC-controlled systems Respond quickly to breakdowns, applying root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence Keep accurate maintenance records using CMMS systems Support site safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For: Recognised engineering apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC (or equivalent) Maintenance experience within FMCG, food, drink, or manufacturing Strong skills with motors, bearings, pneumatics, conveyors and PLC-driven equipment Safety-first approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team What's On Offer: Competitive salary & overtime opportunities Pension scheme & life assurance 25 days holiday bank holidays Training and career development Please apply below if you're interested
