CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist Location: Driffield, East Yorkshire Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Salary: up to £35,000 depending on experience About the Role: Staff Power Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist on behalf of a well-established engineering company near Driffield. This is an excellent opportunity to join a precision manufacturing environment, working on high-quality components for specialist industries. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines Read and interpret technical engineering drawings Machine components to tight tolerances using a range of materials Conduct quality checks on completed parts using inspection tools Maintain a safe and clean working environment Work closely with the production team to ensure timely completion of jobs Requirements: Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision engineering environment Ability to read and understand technical drawings Skilled in operating CNC machinery Ability to work independently and to a high standard Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Desirable: Experience with manual machining as well as CNC Engineering apprenticeship or relevant qualifications Familiarity with small-batch or prototype work Benefits: Competitive pay rates Opportunities for overtime Long-term, permanent position Pension scheme 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Supportive team environment and career progression opportunities
