Hello,My name is Romane, and I am a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment agency specializing in finance. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll positions. I am looking for a payroll specialist for my client in the construction industry. This is a permanent position in Brossard in a hybrid work model. Your responsibilities*Manage the entire bi-weekly and weekly payroll process (CCQ) and administer vacation time;*Collaborate with the human resources department in administering group insurance, the group VRSP, and the group RRSP program;*Produce various reports and statements (tax statements, CNESST, employment records, salary statements); *Provide monthly reports and, upon request, cost tracking reports to various internal stakeholders;*Ensure compliance with laws applicable to the company (pay equity law, skills law); *Post entries to the books and balance the general ledger accounts; *Respond to ad hoc requests related to payroll and benefits; *Participate in rebilling files and various analyses related to the Group's payroll; *Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks. Your profile:*College diploma in accounting or administration*Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position*CCQ knowledge (an asset)*Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook)*Good organizational and planning skills*Ability to handle multiple files at once and meet deadlines*Strong sense of responsibility and initiative*Ability to work effectively in a team*Proficiency in the Nethris or Employer D payroll system*Knowledge of Hopem software (an asset) PROCESS: First interview with Romane Dumaine, recruitment consultant, then with the talent acquisition director.To apply: www.fedfinance.ca
