IT Intern

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Intern to support our IT department with day-to-day technical tasks. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in IT support, systems administration, and business technology operations. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-line support to staff on hardware, software, and network issues. Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Support system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of IT assets, incidents, and solutions. Assist with troubleshooting printers, network connectivity, and email systems. Support the onboarding of new employees (account creation, equipment setup). Learn and apply IT security best practices. Currently studying towards or recently completed a qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Windows, and basic troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace, etc.). Previous experience (even informal/volunteer) in IT support.
