Job Title: Security Engineer (12-Month Contract) Location: Singapore – Bendemeer Employment Type: Contract Overview We are seeking a Security Engineer to join our Managed Services team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily operations, maintenance, and enhancement of security platforms and processes. This role requires hands-on experience with security tools, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset to strengthen cybersecurity posture and maintain compliance. Key Responsibilities Security Platform Maintenance Perform regular maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly) of security platforms, including: Privileged Access Management (PAM) Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), including signature updates Manage and maintain the Security Team mailbox (e.g., vulnerability alerts, phishing reports) Create and distribute security-related email communications (EDMs) Conduct health checks on virtual machines (VMs), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and servers Security Operations Handle user onboarding and offboarding for security platforms Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for security solutions Monitor security alerts and follow escalation procedures when necessary Conduct phishing simulation exercises and deliver user awareness training Generate and submit biweekly and ad-hoc security reports Track and manage software licenses and contracts related to security platforms Support billing cycles in coordination with shared services teams Recommend and implement improvements to enhance cybersecurity processes and controls Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Minimum 3 years of relevant IT security experience Strong familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud services Comfortable working with Linux Command Line Interface (CLI) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Preferred Certifications (in order of preference): ISC² CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional CEH – Certified Ethical Hacker CompTIA Security How to Apply: Interested applicants, please click on the “Apply Now” to submit your updated resume.
