We seek a skilled Litigation Lawyer specializing in consumer flight claims to lead in-court collections, potentially opening their own boutique legal firm in Italy. Responsibilities include filing court cases to recover compensation and expenses related to airline claims, handling legal defenses, enforcing judgments, and advocating for passenger rights. The role involves managing legal matters within Italy, handling pre-court collections, preparing legal claims, and engaging in legal research and public relations activities. Requirements: A valid Attorney at Law license in Italy and professional liability insurance. A law degree from an accredited institution. Proven success in in-court collection; experience in aviation law is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal research skills. Ability to manage caseloads, prioritize, meet deadlines, and utilize legal technology tools. Responsibilities: Handle all legal matters and claims filed within Italy, including assisting in setting up a law firm if feasible. Manage pre-court collections, file legal claims, and recover compensation and expenses under relevant regulations. Respond to airline defenses, enforce court judgments, and negotiate settlements. Maintain accurate legal case files, conduct legal research, and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations. Support automation of claims management workflows and identify new legal business opportunities. Represent AirAdvisor in media and coordinate public relations efforts related to legal victories and developments. Soft skills: Professional, ambitious, and open to new AI tools and approaches.
