Hardware Development Engineer (Junior / Graduate) Location: Derbyshire Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Benefits My client is seeking a Junior / Graduate Hardware Development Engineer to join their expert team, working on the design, development, and testing of advanced products and systems. The Role You’ll be involved in the full product lifecycle - from requirements capture and system architecture through to electronic and mechanical design, documentation, and production. What You’ll Need Excellent attention to detail with a drive for quality Strong communication and teamwork, plus confidence to work independently Proactive problem solver with ownership of tasks Adaptable, reliable, and able to work under pressure Technical Requirements: Hands-on approach to design and problem-solving Knowledge of electronic schematics and PCB layouts Understanding of the full product design lifecycle Appreciation of mechanical aspects of product development Desirable Skills: Schematic design and PCB layout Design for manufacture and CAD experience Simulation, test and debug Knowledge of C/C# for tools and test systems Familiarity with CPU/MPU architectures Qualifications: Degree in Electronics (BEng) or equivalent experience commercial experience Clearance: You must be a British Citizen and eligible for DV clearance Why Apply?
