Key Account Manager

We specialize in the development, processing, packaging and marketing of dried fruit, nuts and related speciality products for the South African and international retail. The following career opportunity became available at our processing and packaging facility in the Ceres Valley. KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER At Source is recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The purpose of the role is to manage and grow strategic relationships with leading local and international retailers. Together with the Commercial Manager and Team, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase sales, optimize new business development and strengthen our partnerships with the retailers. Amongst others, Key Responsibilities will include: develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders monitor and analyze sales data, market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth liaising between customers and production regarding orders, volume forecasts/estimates, deliveries, availability, service levels, etc. execution and administration of specific tasks and projects in the marketing plan, including promotions, demonstrations and product launches operate and maintain the companys websites, digital and social media platforms ensure real-time response to enquiries and queries. The designated person will be a good organiser and service orientated communicator with sound judgement and the ability to function self- sufficiently. Further critical requirements are project management skills; analytical numeracy; applicable experience/training in the use of digital platforms. Experience of BI software will be an advantage. An university degree, preferably in commerce, is a prerequisite. This position offers an excellent opportunity to a young, dynamic person to gain business experience in the food industry.
