Job Description Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/15/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights, rotating Employment Type: Travel 12 bed LDRP unit with a level 1B neonatal care center. birth approximately 600 babies per year. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Advocates for patients and families to ensure positive patient care outcomes. • Documents all changes as well as relevant information regarding patient’s response to intervention, therapeutic regimens, and patient progress as it relates to plan of care and patient’s response to teaching. • Communicates effectively with patients, families' peers and other members of the healthcare team. • Includes patient, family, and caregivers in all aspects of care while ensuring that all explanations are understandable. • Cares for patients throughout the following phases of care: triage, labor, delivery, recovery, circulate and cesarean sections, postpartum and well newborn care. • Attends deliveries when appropriate. Implements stabilization process according to NRP guidelines. • Responds effectively and professionally in a crisis situation. • Provides resources to assist patients and families with post-discharge needs. Birthing Center (L&D) RN- 36 hr NIGHTS and Roatating shift available, with every third weekend rotation.\nExperience: 2 years of LDRP experience strongly preferred\n\nState of Massachusetts RN licensure \nBLS \nNRP\nBSN \nEducation Required: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.\n\nFlu vaccine required for new staff starting 9/2.
