Signage Rigger

Position: Signage Rigger Industry: Industrial Coding and Marking Solutions Location: Brackenfell , Cape Town Contract: Permanent (Full-Time) Job Purpose: The Signage Rigger will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and removal of signage and related equipment. This role requires working at heights, operating rigging equipment, and ensuring that all installations are performed to high quality and safety standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Install, maintain, and remove a variety of signage, including large-format signs, industrial markings, and displays. Operate rigging and lifting equipment to position signage safely and accurately. Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications related to signage placement. Conduct site inspections and risk assessments prior to installations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures. Collaborate with the production and project management teams to ensure timely project delivery. Perform quality checks and complete documentation for each installation. Travel to client sites as needed for installation and service work. Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in proper working order. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: Grade 12 / Matric certificate. Proven experience as a Signage Rigger or similar role in the signage, construction, or industrial equipment industry. Rigging or lifting certification is highly advantageous. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. Good physical fitness and the ability to work in outdoor conditions and at heights. Valid drivers license (Code B or higher). Strong safety awareness and adherence to protocols.
