Braemar College provides support to each student to assist them in gaining admission to universities and colleges across North America and internationally. Position Summary The Online Learning Coordinator supports the delivery of Braemar College’s online programs while also assisting with student recruitment. Reporting jointly to the Directors and the Sales Manager, the Coordinator ensures smooth academic operations, provides support to students and instructors, and contributes to strengthening Braemar’s global student community. Key Responsibilities A. Academic & Online Learning Support Guide students through course registration, orientation, and the Learning Management System (LMS). Provide timely assistance to students and faculty on scheduling, assignments, and technical issues. Monitor online classes to ensure quality, attendance, and compliance with academic standards. Coordinate course logistics, including scheduling, communication with instructors, and exam arrangements. Maintain records of teacher compensation for marking, course selection, and exam supervision. TVO ILC Liaison Enroll students, send welcome emails, and provide deadlines. Act as the primary point of contact for Online students, handling communications with the Day School. Support students with extensions, exam bookings, marking issues, appeals, course changes, and complaints. Host weekly check-in Zoom sessions. BOA Canvas Facilitator Enroll students, send welcome emails, and provide deadlines. Manage teacher and student accounts, provide technical support, and resolve course access or submission issues. Host weekly check-in Zoom sessions. Review extension and appeal requests, determining outcomes and timelines. Regional Program Oversight Africa: Coordinate the Canadian Pathway Program (CPP), including meetings with partner schools (e.g., BHL, Liferoots, Gombe, Temple, IUPC) and parents. B. Recruitment Support (with Sales Manager) Support Braemar College’s presence at fairs and recruitment events in East Africa (travel covered). Engage high schools and education bodies in Africa to expand the CPP partner network. Negotiate school-to-school agreements and maintain relationships with partner schools. Provide administrative support to Sales Manager and recruiters, including documentation, scheduling, and prospect tracking. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong organizational and multitasking skills across academic and recruitment functions. Excellent English communication skills (additional languages an asset). Proficiency with LMS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in student services, education, or recruitment preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
