Job Description Provide leadership and strategic direction to teams within Facilities Engineering, Fire Safety, Property Management, and Special Projects. Manage daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of all building systems and infrastructure, particularly M&E services. Serve as a key point of expertise for troubleshooting technical issues, including root cause analysis and incident resolution. Supervise end-to-end property-related matters such as contracts, insurance, leases, utilities, and asset renewal. Represent the hospital in dealings with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders. Lead cost optimisation efforts and oversee service enhancement initiatives. Develop, monitor, and manage budgets for capital expenditure (CapEx), operational expenditure (OpEx), and external funding. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing approvals, invoicing, and financial reporting. Provide expert guidance to senior leadership on matters concerning infrastructure, engineering, and facilities strategy. Contribute to internal education efforts on facility operations and safety. The Successful Applicant A recognised Bachelor's Degree or Graduate Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related fields. Professional certifications such as Fire Safety Manager (FSM), MOM WSH, or LEW are advantageous. 10 to 20 years of relevant experience, preferably within large-scale healthcare or institutional settings A minimum of 5 years in a managerial role with multi-functional or multi-site responsibilities. In-depth knowledge of building operations, M&E systems, and facilities lifecycle planning.
