Customer Service Team Leader

SEND and AP Service Team Location: Ealing, London Salary: £61,653 - £65,181 per annum (inclusive), Grade 15 Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time Closing Date: 1st September 2025 The Role The council are recruiting two SEND and AP Service Team Managers to lead multi-disciplinary teams delivering statutory SEND services across assessment, planning, and provision. These roles are central to driving service improvement and ensuring that children and young people receive timely, coordinated, and outcome-focused support. Key responsibilities include: Leading and managing teams including Senior EHCCos, EHCCos, Travel Assessors and other key staff Overseeing service performance, quality assurance, and statutory compliance Supporting implementation of the Local Area SEND Strategy Driving improvements in co-production and engagement with families and partners Contributing to data analysis, reporting, strategic development and inspection readiness Skills and Qualifications You will be a resilient and strategic leader with a strong working knowledge of SEND legislation, statutory processes, and best practice. You will be confident working independently and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Your excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills will enable you to build effective relationships with families, schools, and multi-agency partners, while maintaining a clear focus on outcomes and statutory compliance.
