Cover Supervisor

This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone passionate about education and considering teacher training in the future. What is a Cover Supervisor? A Cover Supervisor is responsible for delivering pre-set lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher. You will not be expected to plan or mark work, but you will need to manage classroom behaviour, keep pupils on task, and ensure a calm and productive learning environment. Why this role matters: Cover Supervisors play a key role in maintaining continuity in students’ education when their regular teacher is unavailable. You will support learning, encourage positive behaviour, and help students stay focused, all while gaining first-hand insight into the day to day life of a teacher.
