Lecturer in Technical Construction Annual Salary: £28,385 - £41,782 Location: Cambridge Job Type: Full-time Reed FE are working with a College in Cambridge and are seeking a Lecturer - Technical Construction to join their Built Environment team. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in Technical Construction and related subjects across various levels, including BTEC and HE courses. Develop and update course materials in line with current industry standards and educational guidelines. Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and support students in achieving their learning objectives. Participate in curriculum development meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices and materials. Engage with industry professionals to keep course content relevant and up-to-date. Support students through academic advising and career guidance. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of a Level 5 qualification or degree in Construction or a related field. Proven experience in the design area of the construction industry. Strong passion for teaching and commitment to student development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
