About the Role: Youll be instrumental in delivering high-quality Electrical Installation education , guiding learners with your technical expertise and passion for the trade. Youll work with state-of-the-art equipment in a modern, well-resourced environment designed to reflect real-world industry standards. Alongside your teaching, youll support the operational delivery of our Electrical programmes , helping manage staff and resources to ensure excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment . As part of the areas management team, youll contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement, collaborating with colleagues to strengthen the departments impact across the College. Essential Qualifications: Qualified electrician to level 3 or above in Electrical Installation/maintenance, including an AM2 assessment and NVQ Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics - GCSE grade 4 or equivalent Level 5 Teaching Qualification / open to completing within 3 years of employment or 3 years of the first available course Assessor/Verifier Awards or a willingness to achieve within six months of starting the position. Essential Experience: Proven experience in successfully leading teams or managing staff within an educational or professional setting. A strong background in training or teaching, with a proactive approach to curriculum development, course promotion, and marketing. Solid hands-on trade experience within the electrical or related industries.
