3D Designer & Animator - Graduate

3D Designer & Animator We have a fantastic opportunity for a creative and detail-focused graduate to start a career as a 3D Designer & Animator joining a growing technology start-up. You will be working on a range of innovative projects, producing high-quality 3D models, animations, simulations, and rendered visuals to support marketing and product initiatives. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment where youll quickly take on responsibility, collaborating closely with a small, dynamic team and getting involved in multiple projects at once. Location: Saffron Walden, Essex office-based, 5 days per week Salary: £32,000 £45,000 per annum Requirements for 3D Designer & Animator: Strong commercial or academic experience in 3D modelling, animation, simulation, and rendering using tools such as Blender, Maxon Cinema 4D, Redshift / Octane, Adobe Substance 3D collection, or Adobe After Effects This company values exceptional academics and is looking for at least AAB at A Level and a first-class degree (or a high 2.1 if from a Russell Group University) Working knowledge of Fusion 360 or other CAD software is beneficial Skilled in digital artwork tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent Experience with CSS, HTML, and content management systems (WordPress, Joomla, etc.) Knowledge of DTP (desktop publishing) software Ability to translate 2D sketches and CAD drawings into production-ready 3D outputs Strong sense of scale, composition, and real-world fabrication considerations Able to produce presentation-ready visuals and animations with minimal guidance Photography skills would be an asset Strong organisation, time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects at once Excellent communication skills, able to clearly explain creative decisions Due to the nature of projects you must be in a position to qualify for UK security clearance (this usually means you have been a UK resident for 5 years, have a clean criminal record etc) Responsibilities for 3D Designer & Animator: Create high-quality 3D models, animations, and rendered content for marketing, product, and promotional purposes Develop assets based on 2D sketches, CAD drawings, and creative briefs Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure visuals meet brand and technical standards Maintain a consistent visual style across all outputs Manage multiple design projects simultaneously from concept to delivery Stay up to date with the latest tools, trends, and techniques in 3D design and animation What this role offers: The chance to join an innovative and fast-growing start-up at an exciting stage of development Creative freedom and the opportunity to make a direct impact on visual direction and branding A varied and fast-paced workload, working across multiple projects and mediums Applications If you would like to apply for this unique 3D Designer & Animator role, please send your CV via the relevant links.
