Health and Social Care Teacher Hourly Rate: £30 - £35 (Umbrella) Location: Sidcup, Kent Job Type: Part-time (2.5 days timetable tbc) We are seeking a dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to join our educational team at Sidcup, Kent. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching in Health and Social Care, specifically focusing on nursing courses, BTEC, and T-Level qualifications. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver 10 periods of teaching spread over 2.5 days, with 4 periods per day. Teach and manage classes in Health and Social Care with a focus on nursing courses. Prepare and deliver lessons that are engaging and comprehensible to students. Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback to enhance their learning experience. Maintain discipline in accordance with the school rules and disciplinary systems. Challenge and motivate students, promoting and reinforcing self-esteem. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification in Health and Social Care. Experience in teaching BTEC and T-Level Health and Social Care courses. Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and educational practices.
