As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absence. Key Responsibilities: Supervise classes during short-term teacher absence Take the register and ensure a calm and focused learning environment Distribute and oversee the completion of pre-set work – no planning or marking required Maintain classroom discipline in line with the school's behaviour policy Support students in staying on task and managing their time effectively What We’re Looking For: Confident individuals with strong classroom presence Ability to manage behaviour in a calm and consistent manner Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience working with secondary-aged children is desirable but not essential Flexible, proactive, and reliable Whether you're a graduate considering teaching, a teaching assistant ready for a new challenge, or someone with relevant experience in youth work or training, we would love to hear from you.
